About Us
Formed through joining the Enactus MTN ICT challenge in 2020, eRank Play was born. It began with over 10+ members and came to its solution through conducting research using the Design Thinking Methodology.
- The concept is based on the daily life of a South Africa learner travelling from home to the taxi rank hence, “eRank”.
- With the idea of Maths being seen as an intimidating subject, we have created a micro billed WhatsApp data driven math game
- This game offers exam specific questions for grade 8 and 9 high school pupils with various features, such as tips and GIFs to make learning interactive and intuitive

Our Solution
With STEM subjects like Maths being the least favourable for students, yet also very important in the SA curriculum, we could not help but wonder what could be done to assist and motivate learners. And so in March 2020 we conducted a survey with over 100 responses, we discovered that learners yearn for a more accessible and fun learning experience. After ideating we concluded that through incorporating advanced technology; we will be able to bridge the gap between unconventional learning and the socioeconomic factors of South Africa. And so creating a fun and relatable platform for South Africans to learn.
